GMXPlay does not collect anything about you. There is no sign-in, no account, and no tracking. You just open the app and listen. This page explains that in plain language.

What GMXPlay is

GMXPlay is an audio player — the “GMA Daisy audio network.” It lets you play and download our podcasts, audiobooks, and shows so you can listen whenever you like, online or off.

What we collect: nothing

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information through GMXPlay. Specifically:

• No account and no sign-in. You never create a login, give us a name, an email, or a phone number.
• No tracking. GMXPlay has no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking tools of any kind built into it.
• No profile of you. We do not build a record of who you are or what you listen to.

Your listening stays on your device

Everything the app remembers is kept on your own phone or tablet and never sent to us:

• where you paused in an episode, and which episodes you’ve finished,
• your settings (like playback speed),
• episodes you download for offline listening,
• any stickers or progress you earn in the app.

If you uninstall GMXPlay or clear its storage, that information is gone from your device. We never had a copy.

How the app connects to the internet

GMXPlay only reaches out to our own systems to fetch the shows and audio — the list of episodes, the audio files, and the cover pictures. It only ever downloads this content; it never sends your information anywhere. GMXPlay does not connect to any outside company’s servers.

Like any website or app, our own servers keep basic, temporary technical logs (such as the internet address a request came from) to keep the service running and secure. These operational logs are not used to identify you, track you, advertise to you, or build a profile, and they are not shared.

Children

GMXPlay is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and — because the app collects no information at all — we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we release a future version of GMXPlay that adds features like signing in, that version will collect some information to work, and it will come with its own updated privacy policy explaining exactly what and why. This policy covers the current version, which collects nothing.

We may update this page from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Effective date” above.
